The Oil spill in bangladsh was caused by a cago vessle coliding with a oil tanker.The tanker was transporting heavy loads of oil.After coliding the oil thick tar clogging 350 sq km of delicate mangrove forest and river delta, home to endangered Bengal tigers and rare dolphins.(The Guardian)

Now beacuse of the oil spill in Bangladsh two animals have gone endangred.The bangal tiger and rare dolphins.​Tigers live alone and aggressively scent-mark large territories to keep their rivals away. They are powerful nocturnal hunters that travel many miles to find buffalo, deer, wild pigs, and other large mammals.(National Geographic)And beacuse of the oil spill they are limited in space to hunt and live compared to thier normal habbitat.

The oil spill that occurred on 9 December 2014 in the rivers of the Sundarbans.It is loacted exactly in the Sela river. Where a cargo vessle and an oil taanker colided.Carrying 35,000 liters of oil.The oil spill in bangladsh spread 40 kiometers up and down stream.

 

 

There is nothin being done the goverment are not cleaning up thier mess and it is affecting the people that live around thier.The goverment should paid outside oil cleaners to come in the country and treat the oill spill.The only thng being done at the moument is the children around the area is forced to clean it to have a habbital place to live and breath in.

 

"This catastrophe is unprecedented in the Sundarbans, and we don't know how to tackle this," Amir Hossain, chief forest official of the Sundarbans in Bangladesh, told reporters.
